Savage House was born in 2020, in the middle of COVID, on a single mat under a tarp in a Long Beach backyard. What started with chain-link fences and a dream quickly became something unstoppable. In less than two years, complete beginners were transformed into state champions and nationally ranked athletes. The growth was fast, the results undeniable, and the culture unlike anything else.
Built on intensity, consistency, and belief, Savage House became more than just a wrestling club—it became a proving ground. The backyard setup kept expanding: more mats, more space, more champions. But the momentum couldn’t be contained. By the summer of 2025, Savage House outgrew its origins and opened its new facility at 5551 Atlantic Ave in North Long Beach. The same mats from the backyard, the same iron and sweat from the garage weight room—just leveled up into a space built for the next generation of wrestlers.
Savage House is about taking athletes from any starting point and forging them into competitors. Fast. Relentless. Proven. The story started savage, and it’s only getting bigger
At Savage House, we believe your mindset shapes your performance. A tough, focused, and coachable attitude is the foundation for growth on and off the mat. We don’t need perfect athletes — we need athletes who show up ready to learn, stay locked in, and give their best every time. How you carry yourself matters here. Attitude isn’t just part of the program; it is the program.
At Savage House, effort is everything. You don’t have to be the strongest or the fastest — but you do have to give your all. We don’t expect perfection, we expect hustle. Every drill, every round, every practice is a chance to show how bad you want it. Effort is what earns respect here. If you show up and grind, no matter where you start, you’ll get better — and that’s what being a Savage is all about.
Consistency means showing up whether you feel like it or not. It is doing the little things right every time and trusting that the work will pay off. The ones who stay steady are the ones who improve. Growth does not come from one big moment. It comes from choosing to stay locked in day after day.
Talent might open the door, but hard work is what keeps you in the room. It means pushing through when it gets uncomfortable and doing more than what is expected. The ones who work the hardest are the ones who grow the most. There are no shortcuts. Every rep, every drill, every practice is a chance to outwork who you were yesterday.
